In-Use Maintenance:
Bi-monthly lubrication of moving component parts is necessary for in-use maintenance. It is recommended that a light machine oil (10W) be applied using a hand gripped (squirt type) oiler. it is especially important that each bearing of each carrying roller be lubricated by injecting the oil between the inner and outer race sections.

Scheduled cleaning of the High Line Dock is not required. Wiping the carrying rollers with a rag dampened in light machine oil (10W) may be used to minimize corrosion after the roller plating begins to show signs of wear.
Inspection:
Inspection of the High Line Dock will be performed by visual means. Special tools, equipment and gauges are not required. Specific areas that should be reviewed for damage, deterioration na and operation are as follows:
carrying rollers should rotate easily
guide rails should be straight and without any deformation
stop mechanism should operate easily and within the extension limits
